Board: Woody from Rolls Rolls

| The Woody...MY Woody |

So... I`v been sitting in front of my pc for about half an hour now trying to find out how im going to wright a Review on the Woody.
And to bee honest. I have no idea, so im just going to start
This winter when i announced that i was going to do this trip on a woody. alot of guys on forums told me that this board was pretty bad. and that I`d bee doing a terrible mistake if i did not do it on LBL Pusher
so natuarly i got some hessitations and fear about using this board. unsure if it realy WAS the board for the task i had in front of me. so i decided to not lett annything to chance. and to test the woody a 4-500km.and last week i did just that. i did a 440km run from Oslo to Kristiansand. to test the woodyand i must say, to all you guys that told me that the woody was a bad choice?
I DO NOT THINK ANNY OF YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TRYED IT!
let me explain.
att first, the first times i tryed the board. i tryed it from home to work. to town, trips that was 3-4km. with alot of wierd asphalt. and maby allso with all the warnings i had against it. the board felt like driving a tank!!! this feeling does not stop. I still feel that way, when i compair a dervish, or a normal cruicer board to the woody. IT FEELS LIKE A TANK.
but... than again. the reason why you use a tank is becaus you need the service that only a armored weaponized automobil can give you.its a tool with a single purpose. to do the task at hand. and that is the same way with the woody. its not a board for downhill or carving. or dancing. its a damn good board for LONGDISTANCE.
the gravety on this board is werry centerd, meening. the turns takes a while to get used to. att first it feels werry wrong. but when you get used to it it`s werry werry pleasant.
but. the only speed i could officaly say i did on it was 60kmh. i did that the first day. and i used a lot of footbreak, caus i was not that used to the board so i did not feel secureon the board jet. but. it was some werry tight turns there. and i had only a half a ince rizers on the board, so the board tutched the asphalt, and i could not get my glowes under to slidebecaus it was to low. witch... is my one fault, but was somewhat dicapointing, but that litte minus was nothing compair to al the pluss the board has
and the pluss is many. its werry low, if you have half a ince rizer on it, its so low that bending your knees is an option, not a necessity. witch on a long trip is what you are after.you`l bee able to walk normal, not feeling anny unplessentes in your legs after a day with 80-90km. witch. i remeber last year i did. on a dervich. i admit that the dervich was not suited for the trip last year, but you have to fail if your going to do somthing right.
and the board got a lot of flex, it feels almost as if it`s going to break if you stand on it witch again. is werry nice on your legs when you`r doing longer trips. makes it a bit fun, you feel that you can dance on it. witch is what i usaly look for in a board. a board, that has the flex to make the asphalt in to waves. and you into a dancer.
allso, since the gravety is so centerd on the board it werry agile. so if you need to do some tight manuvers. it does the trick
one minus that was a thing i was worried about. was the weight on it, caus it is a massive board. it feels massive and heavy. with "purpule" Orangutang weels and bones swiss and my custom paint job. it weighs 4,8kg. but. it dont feel that way when you are standing on it, mostly caus of the bearings, no resistance on the weels it feel like your standing on the asphalt.maby a lighter board would make the trip even easyer, but when you get that mutch, i dont think the extra 1-1,4kg has annything to say.
and i dont think i need to say annything about this, but. The mudguard. A BLESSING
the last thing i want to... i need to say something about is this. im unshure about its durabilety. iv only used it 5times. one time in minus 10`C i did 85km. and 3times im guessing 15km in total. and this time a 440km. and there is a significant sign of wear (not shure about this word, but meening that it has been used) im guessing it will last a 3000km, but anny more. i dont know. but 3000km is alot of road to do on a board. most people will not do that cind of distance on a longboard in total, so unless you are doing 10 000km this will not bee a factor for not bying this board, allso i do not have the exertice in diagosing a boards durabilety, but im just saying what i fell about it. so i might bee wrong, but. thats how i feel about it.i hope i`m wrong thogh caus there is visualy signs of moist damage in the wood. if it`s just superficial marks of wearnes. i dont know. but since i am going to stand 13 000km on a board it something that i need to make shure about

so to summerice. the woody is a great board, that will get you far! it will make shure your knees does not get fucked up, and with the right setup of weels and bearings, i cant think of annything that could`t make this board THE leading board in longjourney Longboarding. apart from the weight. caus you get so mutch. il recomend this board to annyone, without hessitation. and all my prevosly doubts that i had. dissapared after this trip.
but if you do bye this board. and this is actually something Rollsrolls shuld realy think about. CHANGE the weels. in to Purple Orangutang weels. caus. the Seismic weels that is the standard on this board is just a waist. it`s to soft, and makes this good board werry slow.
thats it.

I'll also be travelling with a longboard trailer (Rob Thomson style) since that seems to be the only way to cover that great of a distance unsupported.
Super lightweight accessories will be alfa and omega but comfort will be prioritised
I'll write more details about the products I'll be using when I know.
